After years of battling depression and cycling through psychiatric hospitals, Maya came to Studio In-Sight carrying more pain than hope. She began painting only in black and white—quiet, heavy strokes that mirrored her state of mind. But through her time in Studio In-Sight, coupled with the support of her Cornerstone therapist and care team, Maya found both creative freedom and clinical stability. That combination built the trust she needed to heal. Slowly, color returned to her work. Eventually, she began guiding others through their own healing on canvas.
Studio In-Sight gave Maya a space to reconnect with herself, while Cornerstone’s comprehensive care team addressed the trauma, anxiety, and medical challenges that once kept her isolated. She now participates in gallery exhibits, earning income and recognition for her work—something she once thought impossible. Her story reflects what happens when clinical care and creative expression work hand in hand. It’s not just about painting—it’s about reclaiming a life.
Your support tells Maya her story matters, her art has value, her healing is possible, her future is worth believing in—and that creativity is a path forward.
